The recipe, ingredients, and steps for cooking the Ash Reshteh are the followings:
Put the legumes in a large pot, add 8 cups of water, bring to boiling over medium heat. Then cover the lid and cook for 2 hours or until beans are firm.
Add the soaked Sabzi Ash reshteh (vegetables), dried noodles for ash, salt and pepper. Stir well, cover and cook for another 30-40 minutes on medium-low heat.
For garnishing, In a medium pan, heat 3-4 tablespoons olive oil over medium heat. Put in some sliced onions and cook until golden.
Add the garlic and turmeric powder, saute for another 3-5 minutes.
- Add the dried mint and saute for 2-3 minutes.
- Finally, it’s time to serve the Ash in a bowl and garnish with your fried mixture and Kashk.
